Marg McKenzie RN CCRP was the first Administrative Coordinator of EBRS and a Research Nurse with Best Practice in Surgery at the University of Toronto.
Dr. McLeod along with Marg Mckenzie created EBRS. From very humble beginnings they put together a group pf experts in research methodologies and surgical care and created an on-line journal club. This was jointly sponsored by the CAGS and the ACS, along with Ethicon/JnJ. Dr McLeod's visionary concept along with her hard work and tenacity have brought EBRS and more importantly critical appraisal skills to new generations of surgeons and surgical trainees. The creation of EBRS and its current success is directly related to all the hard work and vision of Dr McLeod and Marg Mckenzie.
