
- Sharon Weber, MD
Dr. Sharon Weber attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for her general surgery residency. She completed her specialty training at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, with dual fellowships in surgical oncology and hepatobiliary surgery. Dr. Weber specializes in benign and malignant disorders of the liver, pancreas and bile duct, in addition to gastric cancer, melanoma, and sarcoma. She is actively involved in minimally invasive approaches to cancer treatment, including both laparoscopic pancreas and liver surgery. Dr. Weber's research interests include mixed methods evaluation of risk factors for readmission using a systems engineering approach with a focus on the transition of care and outcomes research evaluating preoperative predictors of postoperative complications.
