
- Alisa Coker, MD
Alisa M. Coker, MD is an assistant professor of surgery within the Johns Hopkins Department of Surgery. Her areas of clinical expertise include minimally invasive surgery, robotic surgery, bariatric surgery, foregut surgery, and hernia surgery. She received her medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Her general surgery residency, as well as a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery, were both completed at the University of California San Diego. She has special interest in quality improvement initiatives to optimize pre-operative patient factors for elective surgery.
