Dr. Joos is a Trauma and Acute Care surgeon at Vancouver General Hospital, and a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of British Columbia. She completed her medical school at McGill University and underwent general surgery residency at Laval University followed by a Trauma and Surgical Critical Care fellowship at University of Southern California/Los Angeles County Hospital. Dr. Joos is the Associate Director of the UBC Branch for Global Surgical Care and the UBC Trauma Surgery Fellowship program director.
