Fahima Dossa is a PGY5 resident in general surgery at the University of Toronto. She completed a PhD in Clinical Epidemiology at the Institute of Health Policy Management and Evaluation through the Dalla Lana School of Public Health. She was the recipient of the 2022 Governor General's Gold Medal and the 2020 CIHR Rising Star Award. She has research interests in statistics and epidemiologic study design, particularly as they apply to surgical health services research
