Janindra Warusavitarne is a consultant colorectal surgeon at St Mark’s Hospital in London. He was trained in Australia and subsequently performed his colorectal fellowship at the St Mark’s Hospital and the Western Hospital in Melbourne Australia. He was practising as a consultant surgeon in Sydney when he was invited to join the staff at St Mark’s Hospital in 2010. He is the lead surgeon for inflammatory bowel disease and also specialises in intestinal failure surgery. He has considerable expertise in laparoscopic and transanal surgery. Janindra is an academic surgeon with over 80 publications in peer reviewed journals and over 10 book chapters. He has presented many international and national lectures
