Neal Shahidi is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of British Columbia with a focus on endoscopic resection techniques and third space endoscopy. He completed his interventional endoscopy fellowship at Westmead Hospital in Sydney Australia in 2020 and his Doctorate of Philosophy at the University of Sydney in 2023. He is a 2023 Michael Smith Health Research BC Scholar and is supported by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research; having published over 215 peer-reviewed citations. He is the Co-Founder of the St. Paul’s Hospital Advanced Endoscopic Resection Centre (SPARC) and Program Director for the UBC Luminal Interventional Endoscopy Fellowship.
